Role Overview:
As a Social Media Engagement & Content Specialist, you will be the voice of our technical brands, driving conversations, creating content that resonates, and pushing social media performance to new heights. Your role will focus on engaging target audiences, growing online communities, and supporting our B2B clients through strategic content creation. Key Responsibilities:
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in relevant social conversations across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), ensuring brand consistency and voice.
- Content Creation: Develop and schedule engaging, educational, and thought leadership-driven social media content that reflects the brand voice. Create text, images, and videos that align with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
- Social Media Growth & Strategy: Implement strategies to drive follower growth, engagement, and reach. Identify new digital opportunities to optimize existing channels, run experiments, and increase interaction with key audiences.
- Lead Generation via Social: Generate leads and drive website traffic by leveraging social platforms to spark meaningful conversations with target accounts.
- Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Conduct ABM research and outreach, manage lead generation initiatives, and track results to enhance targeting and conversion.
- Influencer & Media Outreach: Cultivate relationships with industry influencers, media outlets, podcasters, event organizers, and professional organizations for collaborative PR and marketing opportunities.
- Reporting & Analytics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess engagement, growth, and campaign effectiveness. Compile monthly reports that measure success and identify optimization areas.
- Brand Voice & Strategy: Maintain and develop the brand voice across all social platforms. Contribute to the strategy and creative direction in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Content for Long-form Assets: Create social content that supports long-form technical assets, such as case studies, white papers, blogs, webinars, and other content marketing materials.
- Competitor & Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the brand is positioned as a leader in social engagement.
- AI Utilization for Efficiency: Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to find efficiencies and optimizations in task management, task execution, and workflow processes is an asset.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in B2B social media marketing, content creation, or community management, ideally in a technical or industrial sector.
- Exceptional written communication skills with a keen ability to craft engaging and insightful posts.
- Strong social media knowledge and an understanding of platform best practices and emerging trends.
- Experience in driving engagement and measurable results through social channels and content.
- Ability to create creative content, including written posts, visual assets, and video, in line with brand goals.
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to track, report, and analyze social media performance.
- Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Sendible, Buffer, etc.) and reporting platforms (MailChimp, Google Analytics).
- Experience in account-based marketing (ABM) and lead generation strategies.
- Ability to quickly understand and discuss technical topics with audiences in a clear and engaging way.
Nice to Haves:
- Familiarity with social media accessibility best practices to ensure inclusive content.
- Previous experience in creating content for B2B brands in technical or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing and relationship management for content collaborations.
