Role Overview:
As a Creative Director at Acclivity, you will be responsible for both the strategic and executional elements of our clients’ brand design. You’ll take ownership of the overall creative direction while and delivery of innovative, on-brand and high-quality designs. This role requires a strong combination of visionary thinking, leadership skills, and the ability to execute across all touchpoints of a brand’s design journey.
You will work closely with the marketing and client strategy teams to understand client goals, ensure that design aligns with their vision, and create cohesive brand identities that resonate in the B2B space. Your creativity will help shape the visual direction for multiple client brands while keeping everything on track and aligned with each project’s strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Oversight: Lead and manage the creative strategy for client brands, ensuring that design initiatives align with overall marketing goals and client objectives.
- Brand Development: Drive the creation of brand identities while ensuring consistency and cohesiveness across all design assets and platforms.
- Creative Leadership: Mentor and provide guidance to the content team, ensuring that the cumulative creative output is of the highest quality and meets client expectations. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovative thinking.
- Campaign & Design Execution: Manage the hands-on execution of design projects, from initial concept to final production. Oversee the creation of digital, print, and multimedia content, ensuring all designs meet brand standards.
- Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to gather insights, understand business objectives, and translate them into impactful creative solutions. Ensure the creative work aligns with the client’s vision and goals.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee the production process to ensure all creative output meets design excellence standards and is delivered on time, within budget, and at the highest quality.
- Project Management & Coordination: Balance creative leadership with project management, ensuring that timelines are met, resources are efficiently allocated, and that the design team is able to meet client expectations.
- Trend Awareness: Stay ahead of design trends and innovations to ensure that client work is fresh, forward-thinking, and competitive within their industry.
- Brand Consistency & Innovation: Continuously elevate the brands you work with, ensuring consistency across all platforms while exploring new design ideas and innovative visual strategies.
- Accessibility Best Practices: Ensure that all design work adheres to accessibility best practices, making sure that designs are inclusive and meet WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) standards for all users.
- UX/UI Best Practices: Leverage UX/UI best practices to design intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience and align with industry standards for web and mobile platforms.
- SEO & Website Performance: Understand how design elements contribute to SEO, website performance, and overall user experience, ensuring that design choices support faster load times, improved site rankings, and a seamless experience for users.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in creative direction or senior design roles, with a strong portfolio showcasing your expertise in branding, visual design, and digital media.
- Extensive experience in B2B marketing and brand design, with a strong understanding of how design drives business goals in technical and industrial sectors.
- Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), along with proficiency in design software and tools such as Figma, Sketch, and others.
- Experience leading and managing design teams, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring the professional growth of team members.
- Proven ability to execute design concepts from concept to completion, delivering polished and visually compelling creative work that resonates with B2B audiences.
- A deep understanding of brand development and strategy, and how design supports and enhances brand identity across multiple touchpoints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate creative vision and design rationale to clients and internal teams.
- A problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate complex business objectives into simple, yet innovative design solutions.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high quality.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes, staying organized and focused under pressure.

- Experience with motion graphics and video editing for digital campaigns.
