B2B Marketing Strategist

Location: Fully Remote (Canada-based only)
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: $75,000–$100,000 annually

What You’ll Do

Own 4–7 Enterprise ABM Programs
Drive end-to-end strategy and execution for complex, negotiated-contract engagements.

Lead Strategic Planning
Develop long-term marketing strategies and account roadmaps that align client goals with measurable outcomes.

Client-Facing Leadership
Work directly with client stakeholders to understand priorities, pitch new ideas, and recommend the best-fit B2B strategies to achieve growth.

Build and Guide Marketing Plans
Draft comprehensive strategies across ABM, demand gen, brand awareness, content, PR, and event marketing. Translate high-level goals into clear, actionable marketing plans.

Own Investment Decisions
Advise clients on where and how to invest budget and resources across channels to maximize ROI.

ABM & Demand Gen Expertise
Blend ABM best practices with broader B2B demand gen, digital, and brand strategy knowledge to create integrated marketing programs.

Event-Driven Lead Gen
Design strategies that optimize leads and pipeline from conferences, tradeshows, webinars, and virtual events.

Optimize for the Future of Search
Stay ahead of SEO trends by integrating best practices alongside generative engine optimization (GEO) and AI-driven discoverability strategies, ensuring clients are visible today and prepared for tomorrow.

Collaborate Across Teams
Partner with Marketing Managers, Project Managers, Content and PR teams to ensure strategies are executed on time and at the highest quality. Participating in some execution should be expected.

Stay Ahead of the Curve
Bring fresh thinking to clients by staying on top of B2B marketing trends, platforms, and technologies, and knowing when and how to put them into play.

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 2 years in strategy development
  • Proven experience in an agency environment (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of ABM, demand generation, brand strategy, and event-driven lead generation
  • HubSpot power user with confidence in pipelines, workflows, and reporting
  • LinkedIn expertise, including Sales Navigator and Ads campaign management
  • SEMrush fluency for competitive and SEO insights
  • Comfortable working in Asana, and Microsoft tools (including SharePoint)
  • Expert in Google marketing tools: Ads, Analytics, Search Console
  • Excellent communicator: you can confidently pitch strategies to clients, gain buy-in, and lead conversations with senior stakeholders
  • Strategic decision-maker: you know how to prioritize and allocate resources for maximum impact
  • Collaborative leader: you guide Marketing Managers and work cross-functionally to ensure plans get executed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
