The Role:
As an Account & Client Success Manager, you will be the key point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring their satisfaction, retention, and success. You will build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and help clients achieve their marketing goals. You’ll be the expert in understanding client needs, identifying opportunities for growth, and driving the execution of campaigns that deliver measurable results. Additionally, you will play an important role in sales and business development, working to expand client accounts, uncover new opportunities, and contribute to the agency’s growth by supporting the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Build strong, lasting relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their business goals, challenges, and opportunities.
- Campaign Execution & Delivery: Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service, including coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Client Success & Retention: Monitor client satisfaction and engagement, identify potential risks, and proactively address concerns to prevent churn.
- Sales & Business Development: Actively identify opportunities for expanding current client accounts and securing new business. Support the sales process by preparing proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing new deals to help drive revenue growth.
- Strategic Account Growth: Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts, recommending additional services or solutions to help clients achieve their business objectives.
- Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with creative teams and project managers to ensure that all aspects of client projects are executed seamlessly.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Regularly monitor key performance metrics, and advocate for desired client outcomes.
- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: Act as a trusted advisor and problem solver for clients, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring a positive client experience.
- Client Onboarding: Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to delivery and setting clear expectations from the outset.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in client success, account management, or business development, preferably within a B2B marketing or digital agency environment.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships and managing client expectations.
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of identifying opportunities for account growth and securing new business.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to tailor communication to different audiences, including C-suite executives.
- A keen understanding of marketing strategies, including content marketing, social media, SEO, and analytics.
- Proficient in using CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), project management tools (Asana or similar), and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in technical, niche knowledge industries (engineering, manufacturing, technology, etc.) is a plus.
