As an Account Manager at Acclivity, you’ll be at the forefront of fostering long-term client relationships, ensuring their success and satisfaction while driving business growth. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs, identify new opportunities, and help expand their marketing strategies to achieve measurable results. In addition to nurturing these relationships, you’ll play a key role in business development by contributing to the growth of our client base and driving new revenue opportunities. Key Responsibilities:
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and nurturing strong relationships, understanding their needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Project Oversight: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, execute, and track marketing campaigns, ensuring client goals are met within scope, budget, and timelines.
- Strategic Planning & Consulting: Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives and marketing goals, offering strategic guidance and recommendations for campaign execution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams (marketing, creative, analytics, etc.) to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and optimal client outcomes.
- Problem Solving: Proactively identify potential issues in client projects and collaborate with the team to resolve them quickly, keeping clients informed and satisfied.
- Growth & Upselling: Identify opportunities to expand the scope of services with existing clients, driving revenue growth while ensuring alignment with their business objectives.
- Business Development & Lead Generation: Actively seek new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, building pipelines, and supporting the sales team.
- Proposal Development & Presentations: Create proposals, pitch presentations, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Networking & Relationship Building: Attend industry events, and networking functions to build new relationships and increase brand visibility.
- Sales Strategy Contribution: Collaborate with the business development team to refine sales strategies, improve client acquisition processes, and contribute to long-term growth plans.
- AI Utilization for Efficiency: Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to find efficiencies and optimizations in project management, client reporting, and workflow processes is an asset.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in account management, client services, sales, or business development, preferably in a marketing agency environment.
- Strong understanding of B2B marketing, digital marketing strategies, and technical industries.
- Proven experience in business development and lead generation, with a track record of contributing to revenue growth.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools such as Asana, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, with exceptional attention to detail and time management.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey ideas and manage client expectations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically to meet client needs.
- A client-centric mindset with a focus on relationship building and delivering value.
