Responsibilities
- Research, draft, edit and publish interesting and compelling content to be distributed digitally on social media platforms, blogs, newsletters, press releases, websites and more
- Create and edit appropriate graphics to accompany content using Canva, online stock photo tools, and other methods, modifying images to suit the needs of each platform
- Create and edit short videos and gifs to compliment content if needed
- Participate in strategizing to create unique and effective messages and campaigns to support individual client goals
- Ensure each client’s individual voice and message is being reflected and amplified through your content
- Ensure content is serving the client to drive engagement, increase brand awareness, grow followers, build website traffic, generate leads, and achieve other identified metrics and CTAs.
- Monitor performance of content and tweak messaging when necessary
- Create quality work while meeting timelines and quantity requirements
- Increase reach by identifying new digital opportunities, optimizing existing channels, and running experiments
- Schedule, maintain and boost content using social scheduling tools
- Work alongside our team to imagine and implement opportunities and strategies for upcoming campaigns, and maintain brand voice across all platforms
- Continuously research and implement industry trends and developments
Requirements
- Strong task organization and task management skills
- Strong written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Creative mindset and ability to write with a variety of voices
- Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Stays up to date on industry trends and platform advancements
- Relevant education, relevant work experience or relevant related experience plus a demonstration of good position fit required
- Familiarity with popular digital platforms including social media, search engines, blogs and website interactions
Nice to Haves
- A background in or knowledge of non-SaaS B2B industries
- A background in or knowledge of manufacturing, electronics, or similar industries
- Familiarity with account-based marketing approaches
- Willingness to work on days and times outside the normal workweek as needed (rare, generally only for special events, planned well in advance)
- Familiarity with social media accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with website and Facebook chatbots
